So I finally made it to my last semester of nursing school. Two things I am not very comfortable on are blood draws and IV starting. Matt decided to be a good sport and donate his arms for my practice tonight. He allowed my to stick him 8 times and wanted me to keep going, but I think his veins need some time to heal. I thought I did pretty well...just don't ask him what he thinks. I only caused one large bad hematoma in his hand (but I did get the vein). I really appreciate him letting me practice on him. He actually does blood draws at work so he was even able to give me a few pointers.

oh my gosh way to GO!!! your hub is SO nice to let you stab him...sick. when my husband was learning how to draw (like your hub does prob...for duis) ...he kept asking me a million times to practice on me...NO...uh...no. :)
